In 2015 I was approached by Craft Scotland to produce an image for the cover of their annual report as well as for use on their website and other promotional materials. The images were shot on location at White Stuff on George Street in Edinburgh where the Craft Scotland Summer Show was being held.
I was given access to some of the disused parts of the building - including the attic, where I found a number of items which I used as props. The natural light from the attic windows provided a beautifully soft directional light source which enabled me to show the form and textures of the makers work to great effect.
